Community Shred Events^®

Fighting consumer fraud and identity theft

Destroying personal information is a key step to preventing identity theft. To raise awareness and to promote prevention, Securit regularly organizes Community Shred Events where people can have their confidential documents destroyed on site in our mobile shredding trucks – for free.

The events usually take place in police stations and shopping center parking lots, and serve all the community members who need the service; some shreds have served as many as 2000 people, with more than 70 tons of paper recycled!
